RACH, they *are* mostly the original versions. The later versions got the heaviest rewrites. As You Wish was completely re-written, and it's also a romance, and the longest of all my fairy tales. The Grimm & Dirty Tales are all short stories and some were more rewritten than others. It all depended on what sort of mood I was in on the given day, and how much the story inspired me to "go off the map." Some are very modern, but most are very old-fashioned and draw heavily on the Grimm Bros collection I was reading at the time.

There is going to be a Grimm & Dirty audio book soon, if you are into that. The narrator sounds like a young Dame Maggie Smith if she were a dominatrix. I love her. :D
