How funny! That's how I fell into Judith McNaught. I read perfect, then devoured all of her books. A Kingdom of Dreams was my first Highlander romance and I've been in love with Highlanders ever since. How awesome! Great to connect with you, my fellow Fever Fan! Barrons... {sighs}

Hello, Michele! You sound familiar to me too! I am an author! My debut paranormal Highlander comes out in 12 days! {vibrates} ... Yes. Payne's story was my last read in the series. But I do adore the stories and Ward's writing. I commiserate with you. $18 is a high price for pay, let alone be disappointed.

Hi Kat! Thanks for the invite! I feel like I've heard your name before. You're an author! In your invite you said you loved BDB. I loved it to (excluding book 6 and 9) but Qhuay's book pissed me the hell off. She only gave them like a quarter of the book so that she could build new characters to have new books. I sat through book 9, a brand new character (Payne) and what I like to call "pulling the lynchpin". I feel like, as an author, you built the world, you have to live in it. It just makes it fall apart.

Anyway- look forwards to chatting with you! :) sorry, diatribe over. $18 and two years of waiting for a book has me a little bitter.
