There's never a dull moment in Chalkewood and Saphel Rose gives us women for the 21st century who are fully in control of their lives and sexuality, who are firmly in charge of the the men around them and control their own destiny. Saphel Rose manages to tread the line of making the book sexy without resorting to graphic bedroom antics. At all times, the comedic element of the characters situations are maintained and the story evolves at a fast pace.
