Vincent Jr. It's always gratifying to read a review from a reader who so obviously enjoyed your book: "It is a remarkable story coming from a family which had suffered it all. It should attract a wide readership hence, for its authenticity and being documented so well."

Vincent Jr. Reflections of an Irish Grandson: A story of Grandmother Bridget (Meade) Quealy and the Meade family of Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland

Hello....I recently completed much research on my Irish family history, including time spent in Ireland on the project. I'd wanted, for many years, to learn more than the bits and pieces I'd often heard over the years and to uncover all that I could about the story. It is now written in my new book "Reflections of an Irish Grandson: a story of Grandmother Bridget (Meade) Quealy and the Meade family of Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland."
It is a story of sorrow and of sacrifice, of courage and of resistance. The Irish War of Independence would come harshly to Miltown Malbay and three Meade brothers would serve valiantly in the Mid Clare Brigade, often engaging British troops in the struggle to finally throw off the rule of a foreign government. The Meade family would soon come to know particular hardship and sorrow.
