HOpe I'm doing this right, it's my first message on goodreads. I've never read him as I just don't do horror/terror;), and had stupidly put of On Writing for years, even after hearing how good it was, and I must say i thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd read it again and again,I think. And I might even try some of his earlier stuff too, under supervision!! Happy Easter!

Ann Roberts Can't say I was ever a great fan of Stephen King, but I loved 'Misery' - it made me laugh out loud, especially the bits about the typewriter falling to bits. (I once had a typewriter that did the same to me after millions of words!) And 'On Writing' was just genius. Still think of it - wish I still had the book. (Probably lent it to someone and never got it back!)
