James Jordan This book is for clergy, vestry, church staff, and volunteers primarily. Treasurers will also find it useful. It is a "how to" book about leadership, roles and responsibilities, accountability and oversight, church lexicon regarding money, how to read church financial statements, fraud, processes and procedures, budgeting, taxes, and other topics.

There are hundreds of books on stewardship and other "what to do" types of books. This is the only one that is a "how to" book. It is loaded with examples, scenarios, clearly defined flow charts, and extensive descriptions.

While containing references to the Episcopal Church canons, the vast majority of the book is useful to a church of any denomination. Good business practices are not denomination specific.
