I really love your writing style and the idea you got for 'A Sign Of Love' series is utterly genius. Especially on Becoming Calder with all the plot and details of every single thing on the book, the character, setting, everything, good God... I'm reading Finding Eden now and I dont think I can move on soon from this couple!! So excited I may spend my weekend reading all of your books! <3

Why we love Mia…

My book girlfriend started reading Archer’s Voice yesterday. We started discussing, and I want to share our conversation with you.

You write very differently from what we usually read. To begin with, your female lead characters aren’t idiots. Simply stated, but it’s a HUGE pet peeve! When reading a book, we have often texted each other, “This girl is an idiot too!” Your girls are strong, intelligent, and reasonable. Admirable. Many others are written in such a way that we find ourselves wanting to smack them for things like being stubborn or irrational.

Your male leads don’t follow the “formula.” When you look at Christian Grey, Gideon Cross, Damien Stark, Jesse Ward, etc…there’s the same formula. Uber rich, playboy, broken, alpha male falls for pretty yet insecure girl who doesn’t get how beautiful she really is. We love our broken alpha males (after all I am spending the weekend with The Lord of the Manor), but we appreciate something different.

Your leading men are not automatically rich alpha males. You introduce Leo as an awkward teen, Carson is a porn star, and then there’s our beloved Archer. We fall in love with your guys because you show us their journey…where they’ve been and what they’ve become.

We like how the drama of your stories has to do with social issues, as opposed to the common fears of commitment or jealous exes. You bring light to issues such as the broken foster care system, sexual predators, human trafficking, and prejudice against disabilities. You’ve made your mark on us as readers, leaving an impression that will stay with us and that will bring us back to you again and again.

And you’ve given us a whole new appreciation for Thor. I will forever think of Archer.

Epic love story!! I absolutely loved archer's voice..... You never disappoint can't wait to see what's next!! Definitely a top read for 2014!

Hi Jess! I'm SO thrilled you loved Leo. :) Thank you for your lovely note. I am actually writing Leo from Jake's pov right now and I guesstimate that to be out this summer. I don't have an estimated release date for the next book in the series after that, but it will be based on Scorpio. ;) xx! Mia
