Meg Hi, have you ever read any
Crown Jewels series The Royal Treatment, The Royal Wedding etc. by Melanie Summers?
These books are so snarky, often inappropriate (in a British way) it is like Greg from the Ninja books is writing them. Since Greg is my favorite guy in all Penny's books this is a real treat. I listened to the audio versions and was laughing a lot. Oh Penny, please write another Greg... and try these books!

Anakalia Hi Penny,
thank you for adding me to your friend's list! I love your books!
Greetings from Germany!

Sharon Thank you for accepting my friend request Penny! :) Your books are so funny, heartwarming, and cute - I am OBSESSED, especially because I feel like I can relate to how awkward and weird the protagonists can be (embracing my inner hermit). I am particularly a huge fan of Cletus&Jennifer, Ronan&Annie, and Quinn&Janie. Can't wait to read more of your books! You're AMAZING and inspiring. <3

BTW, I am the same girl who accidentally emailed you your own story on Dan/Kat's perspective when I was trying to send it to my friend. LOL.

Sorry it took me so long to respond!
Yes, Shelly will be getting her own book as part of the Winston Brothers series. :-)

message 17: by Amy

Amy Just re-read Neanderthal Seeks Human and am re-reading its sequel now. Coming across Shelly (Quinn's sister) again reminded me how I loved her character. She seems very interesting; someone I'd love to read more about, if you know what I mean *wink, wink*
Any chances Shelly will get a book of her own?

message 16: by Helen

Helen Will happily ever ninja been available in paperback from Amazon UK sometime? What in PB as i have all the others in paperback.
Will there be any more stories for Quinn and Janey as they are my favourites?

message 15: by Lyza

Lyza Dear Penny,

Thank you for clicking that button and accepting my friend request. You made me absolutely overjoyed!!! I won't probably sleep easily tonight (time check - 11:19 PM) :))
It's so coincidental since I just finished reading AGAIN Neanderthal Seeks Human (this 1AM). I am currently re-reading Neanderthal Marries Human (i was done 2 days ago) since most of the quotes I highlighted were lost so I gotta do it again~ because there's a lot of valuable lesson on relationships and marriage that can be truly applied in the real world (and I can mostly relate with Janie in that book - where relationship needs to experience 'famine' before leveling it up).
Anyway,
Thank you!
Salamat!
Arigatou Gozaimasu!
Keep up the amazing work and continue to making us, readers, in awe of Chemistry, Knitting and Beards!
XOXO

No problem! It's always nice to have more friends... as long as they don't want to borrow money. >:-|"

Darn, I guess I can skip my "ask the author" question.

message 11: by Amy

Amy This is depressing. I am depressed. I don't feel like reading anything else even though I have at least twenty books from my reading list on my NOOK. But I.just.don't.want.to.read.anything.post.TheHooker&TheHermit! (picture a 6 year old throwing a temper tantrum and that's me right now)

message 10: by Amy

Amy Penny! So I got the Hooker and the Hermit as soon as it was out. But I haven't started it. Because if I do, I'll devour it and then where will I be? Without any more of your books left to read, that's where.
Yes, this is a sad, sad state to be in (not to mention, slightly disturbing). There is no way I'm not reading The Hooker & The Hermit until March (until Elements of Chemistry is out, that is) but I'm hoping that a demonstration of how bereft I'll be before I get my next fix would be an effective passive-aggressive way for me to urge you write faster.

Almita Hi Penny, thanks for accepting the friend invite. I am looking forward to read your new series. Happy new year!

Thanks, Amy!!
You are also awesome. :-)

Amy YOU ARE AWESOME! I've read Neanderthal Seeks Human and Neanderthal Marries Human and the banter between your characters, the dialogue is un-freaking-believable! I don't even know how awesome your head space would have to be for you can come up with dialogue that you've had.:D
Definitely going to be reading more of your books. And just in case I didn't make it clear, you are awesome!!

Oh, goodness- thank you for the review! I am also a fan of "dirty" books (although I prefer to think of them as anatomically explicit...;-)) I really struggled when I was writing mine with whether I was going to go into detail or write with minimal detail (like I eventually ended up doing). Your comments made me feel much better about my decision.

I am so pleased you enjoyed the book!! Sincerely, Penny
