Greg Strandberg Coming up on Leap Day here in Missoula. It's unseasonably warm. A bit of existentialism is in the air as well.

Greg Strandberg Happy New Year!

Greg Strandberg First snowflakes of the season are beginning to fall in Missoula, Montana.

Greg Strandberg Moving into October now. The days are growing a bit more crisp in the mornings. Many do most of their reading during the colder times of the year. Here we go.

Greg Strandberg 104 degrees today in Missoula, Montana. Glacier National Park just saw a fire start. Glad I live in a cool basement apartment.

Greg Strandberg Not a whole lot going on these days. I'm in the unfortunate position of being at home alone with my 3-year-old, something that's been going on for 5 days now.

Yep, my wife's in New York, and I'm looking into Rogaine treatments to replace the hair I've pulled out.

message 25: by Greg

Greg Strandberg I sure enjoyed reading at Bonner Park tonight. I was able to let my 3-year old son Paul play in the sandbox with some toys and shovels and buckets and I could sit in the shade.

It came to an end when this one naughty girl started throwing sand. After that we packed up and headed out.

message 24: by Greg

Greg Strandberg Thanks, E.D. I'm glad I'm not a teacher anymore. My wife still is and she has it hard.

message 23: by E.D.

E.D. Lynnellen Hi Greg, thanks for the friending! Always great to see someone give good teachers the recognition they deserve. Shows character. Makes a parent proud.

Greg Strandberg Just 9 hours left on the Tarot Card Killer giveaway. 659 people have entered for the 10 free copies. Still time to get yours!

message 11: by Greg (last edited Jul 01, 2014 02:35PM)

Greg Strandberg I feel very fortunate that nearly 300 people have signed-up to get my free book, Tarot Card Killer. The giveaway ends in two days.

I wrote this book in November and it's sold just a couple dozen copies. No one seems interested, and I hope a few more people will notice it because of this.

But if not, oh well. I've got lots of other books and this one will have its day sometime.

Yep, he's good.

I had a teacher in high school Sophomore English that made us write a passage mimicking Twain's speech or writing or dialogue. It was a pretty good lesson!
