Hi, Brittney! Sadly, I have not read a lot of books about horses besides that one because I am SO terrified of any animal dying in a book, ha! Black Beauty definitely scarred the little six year old me :P

Lol! Actually, there are a lot of horse books that involve a horse dying! Believe me, I've cried over many a horse-book!
If you want a no-dying-horse-book, the "Pony Club Rivals" are great! I've read the first two. Or, you could even give my book a try, Red Rock Ranch. I promise no horses die! ;)
