Keep trying - one of this year's finalists (Ken Moraff) was a semi-finalist last year. Hope you enjoy the whole book when it's out!
Thanks for finding me and for the friendship, J! Congrats on winning the ABNA in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror category. I remember your entry. It was fantastic! I had entered this year too. So great that POE is being released by 47North! All the best to you and your October launch!
I'm about 1/3rd of the way through NOS4A2 as well and loving it. It feels a lot like Hill's attempt to recreate his King's IT, but still seriously gripping. If we finish at the same time we'll have to compare notes.

So far though very impressed.
midnightfaerie wrote: "And what does Pema mean? :) Thanks for the add!"Literally Pema means "lotus", but like many words in the Tibetan language, it has layered symbolic meaning. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhist.... When I was at a retreat, we used it as shorthand to describe someone who was gentle and kind.
Hey there! I meant to say hi sooner, sorry about that. I had to comment now and just squee a little that you're reading N0S4A2. I LOVED it so much and hope you enjoy it as well. I'm interested to see what you think! I also wanted to mention that your book looks fantastic, and I'm super excited to read it! Thanks for friending me.

Well, thank you! That means a ton to me. I hope your novel is a colossal success - maybe we can trade reviews when it hits the stands.

Aloha wrote: "Hi J. Thank you for the friend invite. Neil Gaiman is great so it's still a win. How's Hawaii this time of year? I used to live there. Wonderful memories."Oh it's terrible. Sunshine. Tradewinds. Ocean for miles...I'll get used to it one day. (I grew up in New England, and have strangely fond memories of snow.
