I don't really have a process. But email seems like a good way to go. Drop me a line and let me know which stories you're interested in and I'll sort you out.
Quick word of warning: sometimes I don't check email for a couple of days if I get too buried in course work. Of course, other times I respond pretty much immediately. Just don't take it personal if there's a delay :)

you can't invite/admit me without unblocking me first

go the the group member page
at the bottom of the page, on the left side under the pix

tiny type 'block/unblock
hit that and it takes you to a screen of blocked members

find my avatar and unblock me
then return to home page and try again
