hey: i was just thinking about you, and books, and i'm wondering if you've read the elegance of the hedgehog by muriel barbery? it was one of the books i've read in the last year that i really liked, for the characters, mostly; sometimes the author philosophizes a bit much, though she's a professor, so i tend to excuse her. if you haven't read it, i think it's worth putting on your list to-read list. i can lend it to you if you like, but i keep finding myself to dipping back into it, so every time i lend it out, i get very "have you read that yet?" no doubt you already have a long to-read list, but hey, i'd love to hear what you think of it, if you ever get a chance. :)
