Thank You Darlene. Now I know what that's about. Trump himself probably inspired this. If he wins the election, it will be an unmitigated disaster.

Lisa, Just read this article in the 'Huffington Post' and I thought you would find it interesting. I read a comment you made the other day wondering about this book and author and what was going on. This should help clear it up for you. I wasn't aware this was happening either.

You're welcome Cheryl. I also retired a few years ago and am looking forward to hearing about your experiences in retirement.

Hi John, I just finished reading an excerpt of your book and found it quite amusing. Do you have a blog?
Hi John, You're welcome. I'll look forward to hearing from you. Some of my recipes are original. When they are not, I state where I got it. The fruit soup recipe was my great-grandmother's. She was from Russia and she lived with us in the summers when I was growing up. My mother, daughter, and I reconstructed her recipe after we came home from Door County with sour cherries. I just tried making it again and it came out delicious. I intend to read your blog tomorrow. It sounds good. I love political satire. Did you get to Second City when you were here? They aren't as cutting edge as they used to be. I attended the book festival. It's a great event. If you let me know when you're coming to Chicago again, I can point you in the right direction. My husband is a docent for the Chicago Architecture Foundation (volunteer) and we love playing tour guide.
Hi Lisa,Thanks for the friend invite! I think your website is a very interesting idea - except the recipes make me hungry..... And the recipes are tempting in themselves. Are they original?
Funny thing is, I was recently in Chicago for the Book Festival and ate at the Russian Tea Room of course! My grandfather immigrated from the Ukraine and there is no such food anywhere nearby me. I was so delighted to find traditional vegetarian dishes.
You seem like a political animal. You might enjoy (if you have a heathy sense of humor) my book excerpted at www.cureyourdemocracy.com. Other excerpts are on Authorsden.com. I satire partisanship.
Look forward to reading more of your blog.
John
Thank you for adding me as a friend. I just reviewed a book by a Chicago author. hehehehe Here she is:
On my Facebook page, I have a friend with the name Lisa Rosenberg. There are apparently loads of us in NY and Chicago.
