Also, I tried reading gone girl and got more than half way through it but couldn't bear finishing it. I didn't enjoy Gillian Flynn's writting and the plot just felt needlessly drawn out to me. That being said, I might finish it sometime in the future because i do intend on watching the movie.

I meant passion for the written word and knowledge of it but idk how it gave me passion twice.
Anyway, of course I would. Getting to know people who enjoy books as much as i do is a real pleasure.
Hope you're having a lovely weekend ( ^ω^)

It really really really means a lot to me that you took time to check on my writing.

LOL. I totally got what you mean. Mistakes in posts are so irritating and I am really glad to have you here :)
Regarding Gone Girl, well.... I don't know what to say. But I learned that if a book doesn't hook you up from quite the beginning, then usually it's a waste of time, at least in my cases. I loved Gone Girl, but I can totally understand how different people see things. Gone Girl has its mistakes and I'd never claim that it's a perfect book. But it's a good one, and it meant a lot to me because it killed the idea of the MPDG tropes, which is something I have been waiting a long time to happen.
Hope your weekend is lovely, as well. :")
