Hi Lincoln! I'm delighted to be your Goodreads friend! I love the description of your work, and I'm a great fan of Erma Bombeck-type wit. I'm not on Twitter yet - I'm resisting so far because of all my other cyber-commitments.I'm on Facebook, though. Let me know if I can find you there!

Ann, I too love the sound of falling water. And the sounds of wind, rain and surf.Wood smoke has a great smell. I also love the smell of earth when rain hits it after a dry spell.

Hi, Liane! Great to meet you.I'd love to have my own private waterfall, too. I fell in love with the sound of falling water when I was a child and it hasn't lost its appeal yet. I think my favorite "perfume" is probably wood smoke, too.

I'm giving away a book on my blog this week. It's Note to Self: 30 Women on Hardship, Humiliation, Heartbreak, and Overcoming It All by Andrea Buchanan, and anyone who's interested in being entered for the draw should drop a comment to this effect in the trail.http://lianespicer.blogspot.com/2009/...
Hi Diva! Holla back! I'm doing great... finished the final edit of my second book minutes ago... just the synopsis to polish then it's off to the agent...How's life up there in Boston? Still cold, I suppose... :)
Thanks for the friendship, Liane!Love the reviews for Cafe Au Lait...sounds like a great read!
Wishing you much continued success!
Have a Happy Hump Day :)
Gracie
Shawnette, thank you for taking the time to let me know that you enjoyed CAFÉ AU LAIT. If you ever decide to visit Trinidad be sure to let me know! My next romance is set in Miami, and the hero and heroine have Caribbean roots as well. It's in the final edit stage right now.Regarding your question, several readers have told me they would like to read Wanda's story, so I'm giving that some thought for the third romance. I'd like to see more of Gaston myself; I really enjoyed writing him! :)
Thank you for the generous feedback, and all the best to you!
Liane
Hey, Liane...just had to stop by and let you know I ENJOYED your debut...I felt like I was on vacation and I'll definitely have to put Trinidad and Tobago on my list of places to visit one of these days...i was CAUGHT UP in the romance between Shari and Michael...I also look forward to reading your next romance...QUESTION...will we see any of your secondary cast in future novels...for instance I would love to read more about Wanda and Gaston...they were something else...best of luck to you with your future writings :-)
You're welcome, Rowena. It's my pleasure. I'm pretty sure I used to see you around Ms. Snark's blog back when I was an anon acolyte. And of course I see you on the Lollies, sharing your knowledge and insights. And on FB. Happy to see you here too. :)
Liane,Thank you very much for adding me Rowena Cherry as a friend.
I look forward to getting to know you better.
