Indeed, putting yourself in someone else's shoes is difficult in general, and even more so when it comes to the Holocaust. I really appreciate the feedback you sent me.

Dear Margareta,

I presume you are the same person as MAYA Ackerman with whom I had correspondence about her grandfather and you had questions for me as a Holocaust survivor. I think you did a brilliant job in interviewing your grandpa, but it is very difficult to put oneself into another person's shoes.
