Sorry to hear you had trouble, Nancy, but thanks for persisting. I think most new releases sit on the bookstore shelves for maybe up to six months, then they're available by special order only. And I wish every library had the funding to buy my books, but I know they don't. Anyway, hope you enjoy the book once you receive it. Thanks again, Lisa
I have had trouble locating For Better, For Murder. I tried the Boulder Bookstore and the Boulder Public Library, and neither had it listed as available. I just ended up ordering it from Barnes & Noble, they didn't have it in stock. Are you aware of this, or is this common because it is a few years old?
So glad to hear it, Cindy! The fourth book in the series will be out September 2012 and it's called TO LOVE AND TO PERISH. If you email me at Lisa@LisaBork.com, I can put you on my mailing list for an announcement when the book releases. Thanks.
I'm not sure how I found you or if you added me as a friend first. All I know is I'm glad because I'm on the 3rd book and am enjoying it as much as the first 2. Your books suck me in from the first chapter! Any upcoming ones? Hope so!
Lynda, so happy to hear my book hit all those emotions with you. That's what I hoped for when I wrote it! Thanks for letting me know. Lisa
I love a book that sucks me into the lives of the characters. A book that makes me laugh, gasp and cry. For Richer, For Danger did just that. I enjoyed the fact it takes place in Center and Western New York. However, I may be bias since I'm from Western New York.
Lisa, I chose your book For Better, For Murder as my marriage-theme book for Cozy Mysteries' October mini-challenge. I'm so glad I did. I finished it last night (stayed up late, because I didn't want to put it down!) and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm now re-reading it to find the clues I missed the first time. Can't wait to get the other two!
Soooo happy to hear it! Thanks for letting me know, Corrina. In Sickness and in Death should be out within the next two months. Hope you love it, too.
Would be delighted to have you as a reader! Alas, my husband does not read, so you're way ahead of me :)
Thanks for inviting me as a friend. Would love to read your books. Have three others waiting for me at the moment, but will get to yours. I love mysteries. I started out reading in the winter time but that has extended to all year now. Nothing better than cozyingup with a good book. I have my husband reading also so it is now a family thing. : )
Hi Lisa,Thanks for friending me!
I'm not here very often as I'm
trying very hard to pump up my
photography website.
There are so many books to read, ones
you've written and recommended.
I'll get them read eventually!
Thanks for the friend request. It came on a day when I'm off from school due to another winter storm. Your mysteries look good. I'm adding For Better, For Murder and For Richer, For Danger to my TBR list. I'm retiring soon and will have a lot more time for reading. Looking forward to enjoying your books!
