Kate Sex Dungeon for Sale!: THE MOVIE rocks!!! Not that the story didn't, but it's just really neat to see something so awesome come to 'life.' Fantastically done.

Patrick Wensink Awesome, I'm glad you liked it! As soon as the BBQ factory is back in operation, I'll let you know. I've held off on it recently.

Kate I thoroughly enjoyed "ANARCHIST CLOWNS STOLE MY MONEY" @ THE2NDHAND.com! Some highlights for me included:

- Ah yes, Wentastic BBQ. Don't you know? It's the jar with my picture on the label, cross-eyed drunk. No? Man, I should talk to the shareholders about this.

- It's not a flea market and it's not really a fair. Actually, it's some kind of anarchist gang-bang of art and garbage -- and BBQ sauce.

- It's all starting to sound less anarchist and more Public Broadcasting Fund-raiser.

- The ending, such a fantastic ending!

P.S. If you need a marketing director for Wentastic enterprises I'm just the person you're looking for, and can come in for an interview at your earliest convenience, just saying because I know how to whip those shareholders into shape :-)

Patrick Wensink Awesome! I'm glad you liked it. And I'm glad you are scared straight. I had a lot of fun writing that piece. Here's one i recently had published about selling BBQ sauce, hope you enjoy.

Also, hope you enjoy the fine Chicago summer, they are hard to beat!

Kate I was just at Bizarro Central and I read your piece in the magazine section, entitled "Pat, The Pants and the Prison" and I have to admit I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of the "scared straight" program I had to attend in high school at the maximum facility prision in our neighborhood in order to complete this law class I was involved in and let's just say it scared the be-jeezus out of me too. Good job and I look forward to reading more of your pieces in the future.

Hey Kate! It was great meeting you, too. Thanks for making the trek into Chicago to see the reading.

Kate Hey Patrick, I just wanted to let you know that I had a great time at yours and Michael Allen Rose's readings at Quimby's on Saturday! It was wonderful meeting you, your wife and her family. You'll have to let me know how the performance was. I am looking forward to checking out future shows at RoShamBo Theatre and can't wait to check out James Greer, Zach Dodson, and Natalie Edwards reading on May 4. P.S. Quimby's rocks, but I'm sure you already know that =)

Esteban del Mal Patrick wrote: "I'm sorry. Quimby's must be cursed. Now I'm kind of scared to go."

Yes, yes. It had to do with your accompanying Attack Ships on Fire and a little project by Al Jourgensen, but nevermind that -- I'm gonna order me onea them books of yours. I'm thinking I want a sketch of Fonzi scaling the large, disembodied (and disinterested) head of Dostoevsky. Are you up to the task?

Patrick Wensink I'm sorry. Quimby's must be cursed. Now I'm kind of scared to go.

Esteban del Mal Damn your Quimbys event! I keep trying to add witty comments to it, but they disappear into the ether!

Leslie thanks for the friends add :)
