just completed Ali Smith's How to be Both for the second time - if it's possible to fall in love with a book, I fell for this one.

So just finished The Luminaries. Now started a Nora Robert's. Variety is the spice of life.

I've decided to start posting my new story using the blog function here on goodreads. I'll also be posting it on my google + feed. That may seem like a strange idea, but the book itself is going to be fairly experimental so it kind of suits the story. Postings will probably be sporadic, but I'll keep them as regular as I possibly can. K :)

The final chapters of 'Hannac' have just been posted on Wattpad and the book is now complete. I'll be putting it on my profile soon. In the meantime, here is a link:

I've not been as active as I'd like on here over the past couple of weeks as I'm buried under piles of proofreading - but I miss it already and hope to get back in the flow of things asap!

So Slammerkin was excellent - will be posting a review soon. I now need to get through The Hound of the Baskervilles in a few days as some of my students have picked it for a seminar. Ages since I read any Conan Doyle. Can't wait!

hi there - I'm absolutely new to all of this, but loving it already! Really looking forward to dialogue on reading and writing - and I'm constantly on the lookout for new reading material so I welcome all recommendations. K :)
