A mild case of Arachnophobia. If you get a chance check out my FREE short stories http://robertsnovels.comWish you the best with your writing. It can be a frustrating adventure at times.
Robert wrote: "Why would you use a vacuum cleaner to remove vomit? Just curious. By the way you have emetaphobia."Not my idea. My husband did it. The good thing is it was an old vacuum we hardly use.
Yes. I do have emetaphobia. Though I don't have it as severe as some.
Do you have any phobias?
I think the world will be a better place when more people can maturely respond to opinions that differ from their own. They'll respond with kindness, compassion, and open-mindedness.
Just opted into Kindle Select program. I'm having my freebie days next week.Does anyone have any advice for me? Please share!
I submitted the book to several websites.
I'll post on Twitter...once or twice.
Maybe I'll mention it on my blog.
Anything else I should do?
You know you're having a bad day as a writer when you learn your blog has been quoted on a website that gives examples of grammar mistakes.

It ssssseemsss ssso...
I've read three books this week that included fights between humans and a snake. I'm tempted to believe it's some kind of message from the universe.
I believe in destiny, and I'm thinking the whole reason I wrote a new novel is so that it would lead me to finding the word association game on GoodReads. It's a lovely game.
I have my new novel up on Amazon and now it's on my GoodReads profile. I think sometime soon I'll put it up on Smashwords. I wish I was more excited, but I kind of just feel destined to fail.
Still though...Writing the book was a beautiful experience and it led me to GoodReads which has been so much fun. So even if the book fails, the experience has been a huge success.
Yeah. Yeah. Whatever. I'm just trying to talk myself out of feeling miserable.
Trying out Wattpad for the first time. Posted the first chapter of my new novel. http://www.wattpad.com/48865893-the-d...
Now I shall read it. I'll probably find a zillion new mistakes, freak out, become depressed, want to quit writing, etc, etc.
Well, that's just the way it goes.
This morning I saw an example of a blogger attacking a reviewer. It wasn't writer vs. reader thing. But still. It was horrible.I do believe people should be as kind as possible when writing a negative review; but either way...reviewers should not be attacked for expressing their opinion.
Dan wrote: "I think (hope) that most folks consider ratings to be wildly subjective... And wouldn't be overly uptight about receiving them.."I think for me it's mostly about my own feelings. Sometimes I look back at ratings I gave in the past and I no longer agree with them.
For example, I'll see a book with 5 stars and I can't remember loving the book that much; or I hardly remember the book period.
But as for writers...I agree with you. I think most aren't too uptight about what they've received. Their feelings might be hurt for awhile, but I think most will be okay in the end.
I think (hope) that most folks consider ratings to be wildly subjective... And wouldn't be overly uptight about receiving them..
Or maybe I'll keep rating books. Otherwise I might not be able to participate in the read and review (free book) thing. I'd like to one day.And I also like the book compare thing, and it will be less meaningful if I stop rating the books.
Dan wrote: "I guess you could try it with the next book you finish. :)"Yeah. I guess that's the best way to figure out if it's allowed or not!
Can you review books here without rating them?Because I think that's what I'm going to start doing.
I don't like rating books.

I love synchronocity.
