I'm pretty hooked on it at the moment.

Hi, I just joined your discussion group Read 4 Reviews.
I'm about to read a non-fiction book by Ed Hamilton titled Legends of the Chelsea Hotel so I was wondering if it would be possible to start a thread in your group for it?
Hi Ed,Thanks for sending a friend request to this mystery author on Goodreads! I hope you will put my books, A Real Basket Case, To Hell in a Handbasket, Deadly Currents, and Wicked Eddies, on your to-read list. If you'd like to enter a contest for free mystery books, sign up for my email newsletter at: http://bethgroundwater.com/ .

Looking at your shelves, it looks like you and my husband might get along well. He likes punk, too. I do as well, but he's pretty hardcore and old-school about it :-) Nice to meet you, and thanks for the friend request!

That is one of many reasons as to why I am a strong supporter of topless jogging for women...
;)
Hi Ed, thanks for the friend's request. :)Where did you find a an oddbod like me on GR? Just curious. :)
Hey, if you were a female and had small boobs and big nipples and then went jogging, they'd chafe real bad. You might not have to wear a bra, but you'd have to wear Band-Aids. LOL.
Thanks for the friend request! We have zero books in common, but that's good, as I need to get out of my comfort zone occasionally. Have a great day!
I was wondering about your comment that you dont like to read things that will disturb or haunt you. You mean like horror stories or true crime books about serial killer and things like that? I'm kinda the same way when it comes to the news. I can't listen to news about kids getting hurt and stuff like that. I just have to shut down when that crap comes on. Part of me is disappointed in myself, because these things are part of reality and to turn a blind eye on reality can lead to ignorance. On the otherhand I know these things exist - I'm not turning a blind eye to them, I'm simply choosing to fill my reality with positive stories and thoughts, etc. I've been criticized for this, but I honestly don't care. THere's really not much purpose for dwelling on negative crap
Thank you for the friend invite - you have the honour of being my first male Goodreads friend! Not a small honour, let me tell you. I laughed so much when I pressed "compare books" with you - the result was zero! :-D Oh, the book discussions that we'll have! :-D

It seems weird that Romney would believe this, much les say it...

Hi Ed, thanks for the friendship. I checked out your blog. Your Romney commentary was very interesting, lol. I have to say, I'm an extreme fiction reader with a sprinkling of non-fiction, and I read way more than I review. I think the reason for my love of fiction is it's ability to dream the unimaginable. Looking forward to your reviews.Dottie :)
Hello Ed!Thank you for adding me.
It is nice to see someone who enjoys to read about Videogames and the culture surrounding them (Btw, any personal faves from back then?) & Ron Paul... I am not American but sure do like his political stance.
