I don't live in the beach, though I love it and write about the ocean, mostly the Atlantic. I live in Gotham (metro NYC). Most people don't realize NYC has beaches, several. I'm off a protected wetland and can smell the briny, salt in the air from my deck many morning before there are too many cars and their exhaust kills the aroma coming from the inlets off the Atlantic.

What do you mean by hard to categorize faith with fiction?
