I won't bug you with lots of recommendations but thought this might appeal. I know the guy on the front cover calling himself James Glasse personally and remember picking him up from my local train station once with his arm in a sling. Apparently his Jeep was over turned by an IED. He's guarding gold shipments somewhere in Africa now.
Who knows, may be it will give you inspiration for a future story set in Iraq ;)

Thanks for the book suggestion. Looks like something I would read for sure. I'll check it out!
