You're so very right, Elise! What are you doing is the way how one makes people feel something. I have reading so many books, but only a few times I was in love with characters so much that I couldn't go on, I was crying with them, laughing, falling and rising. And I was thinking over their choices and feelings while I was reading another books. Your series is such a case. When an author doesn't try to cover somethings or make it smoother and propitiate, when he or she doesn't suppress what has to be told - a reader has no chance to stay dispassionate. You made me love you characters and now I'm interesting in everything, no matter what they do - sitting and staring into nothing, talking, walking, they can forget about war and just be on the pages and I would be in awe. The plot is an important thing and Fire Falling's plot was amazing! But I think a connection with MCs is something more and something that isn't easy to orchestrate (rather impossible). And you managed to do it) I just wanted to let you know how great it is. Okay, maybe my boss won't agree with us, 'cause I couldn't stop reading even at word xDD Thank you again!

Aww, I'm so honored you enjoy my work! I can only hope I continue to craft a tale that you find enthralling.

You know, I struggle so much with "classifying" Air Awakens. Yes, it is a coming of age story in many ways where Vhalla grows into herself and discovers that who she really is as a person lies in the intersection of what she wants for herself, what she can have, and what the world's expectations are. But, I also wanted to be true to the subject matter. If I am writing about war, hate, love, I wanted to capture those emotions in a way that I hope is sincere and yet "YA Appropriate". I believe books play an important role in inspiring discussion so I try not to gloss over or simplify those complex situations and feelings.

Elise, thank you very much for such a story! I'm so related with characters that I can't work, I think only about them and their fates. And this is amazing feeling!) Keep writing, you're awesome! Wanna have mooooooooore books of yours in the future)

ps: you'are one of a few authors who work on upper-ya area (I mean, real problems, smart and wise characters, sensual scenes (not cut ones, but detailed), this is awe-thing for still young but already mature people)

Oh my gosh Kelly, thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed Air Awakens so much. I loved the anime images you used in your review! I can only hope I continue to meet your expectations as my writing progresses :)

This is not a statement, but more so a Declaration: Just finish reading Air Awakens and I just needed to come and let you know that it was "Freaking Amazing" I can't wait for Fire Falling to be release and you can consider me "Hooked" and one of your dearest and loyal fan onwards. : ))
