I finished The Lace Reader last night. I must say that you have to continue writing. I loved it! So intricate and the characters were wonderfully eccentric and so likable except for Cal (grrrr!!!)PS I also recommended The Map of True Places to my library book club. They eagerly copied down the title and your name.
Curious about your first name. Is it a family name?

I recently finished your Map of True Places and I loved it. It was such a wonderful novel and I loved all the characters you wrote of. I am looking forward to reading The Lace Reader which I now have. Thank you for writing a beautiful, intelligent book for those who are dealing with elderly parents while dealing with everyday life issues. Hope there are lots more of your books in the future.

Marialyce, My apologies, I somehow missed this for many months. Thank you so much for the kind words. I am working on my third book, and your comment is great motivation especially after a tough writing week. I was named by my maternal grandfather after his alma mater, which was Brown University. Evidently, Brunonia is Brown in latin. He was the family called a "rabid alumnus." It is my middle name which I'm using as a pen name in his honor as he was also my mentor.
