Paul Clayton I'm making Van Ripplewink: You Can't Go Home Again FREE Jun 29 through Jul 1. LIke The Bonfire of the Vanities, it’s a realistic view of the American socio-racial dystopia. Love it, hate it, you won't forget it. Van Ripplewink: You Can't Go Home Again

Sure. I recently finished the second of McCarthy's 'Border' Trilogy (drat, I can't remember the title; the first was 'All the Pretty Horses'. I love his Southwest/Mexican stuff. But I'm taking a break from that and I just jumped into Valis by Phillip K. Dick. What are you reading?

midnightfaerie Thanks for the add! I look forward to discussing books with you!

Paul Clayton Don't forget to vote! Just wanted to let every one know that the Goodreads Choice Awards were excepting nominations. They have a 'historical fiction' category. Just sayin'

Paul Clayton White Seed on fire!!! White Seed: The Untold Story of the Lost Colony of Roanoke, went from no. 3,000 (which is not bad, considering there are over 60 k books on there) to no. 111 in the Kindle Book store. Perhaps someone gave it a good post or review somewhere, but this is astounding news for an old mid list writer like myself. This month, so far, White Seed has sold 333 copies in Kindle. Check it out!
