I can't wait to read your book either. I'm from Fiji and okay, that's Melanesia but still, I feel it's awesome that the islands are finally getting represented (well okay, sort of, but still! Islands!) in YA fantasy novels. So, yay.

The next second Rich was curled in the fetal position on the ground, howling in pain, holding his tennis bag in front of him like a shield to prevent further irreparable injury to his groin.
