Hi there! Thanks for buying Broken Rules and I hope you like it! There's a bit of sadness in there because of the outside circumstances (his mom, etc.) but I don't think it's heavy angst. Angst can be pretty personal and it affects people differently, though. I will say their relationship is pretty tight because they're friends and there's a lot of humor in there too :)
