Awesome....I can't wait! I just started chapter 4 about five minutes ago. I LOVED how chapter 3 was a spin on the Manson family murders....Maxine House instead of Abigail Folger really made me laugh. Wait...I shouldn't be laughing at parodies of murders, should I? Oh well, it's funny as fuck so I'm gonna keep laughing! I guess us sick-Os have to stick together!

My intention was simply to write three similar humor/horror/erotic novels set in West Virginia. Consequently, the stories themselves stand alone and are not at all related to one another. Plus, my planned three books may go beyond that if I can develop some viable ideas beyond the third book of the so-called trilogy. That's why I was concerned when Amazon originally listed Hellhole West Virginia as "Volume 1." I certainly didn't want to give potential readers the impression that they would have to follow a series. (BTW, when you get to the fourth chapter in HHWV, you will see a cameo appearance by a Lumberjacked character, but that character has no impact on the plot of HHWV).

Hey Rich! I've never really used this feature of Goodreads before, so I'm kinda checking out what it does. But I WAS wondering...is Hellhole the second book of your "humorrotica" trilogy? 'Cause it seems plenty good as a stand-alone to me, and so far, there are no characters from "Lumberjacked" (of course, there weren't many characters left lol). I made a post on Facebook about it being the second book in the trilogy, and I don't want to mislead people into thinking they must read "Lumberjacked" first (although, of course, EVERYONE should read it NOW!!!!). Some clarification would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! Teresa
