If anyone is wondering why so many book reviews have been showing up on my updates lately, it's because I have been editing them to remove the comment "Review to come soon". :-) Some of them date back to 2014, so I think "soon" is probably not very accurate any more!

Hopefully we can share some good book recommendations in the future!

Thanks for accepting my friend request, Cheryl! I've been wanting to make new writing friends here on Goodreads.

I joined this site a long time ago but am just now getting into it more at the suggestion of a friend.

I've been through Sault Ste. Marie in Canada... that was back in 1972. You live in a beautiful place!! I was on my way to see a total eclipse of the sun from Cap Chat, Quebec.

Since I was a kid in elementary school! :) Although back then, it was more poetry and short stories. Then, in my teens, I started writing longer novels. For many, many years, it was strictly a hobby because I simply loved to write stories and never really tried seriously to get published. In 2009, I had my first book published by a local POD publishing company, which was such a total thrill. Now, I have three books published and I'm still floating on cloud 9!

I am happy to tell you that Lilith is available Via LuLu in paperback :) I understand your feelings with kindle, I much prefer a solid book in my hands, but I am forced to use it to be able to read the books I love lol! :)

Hey, Mary, no problem. Right now, I have another manuscript at my publisher's but haven't heard from her yet about the status of it. As well, I'm busy working on a couple more books.

I definitely do. As a relatively new author published by a small press, it can sometimes seem rather overwhelming and intimidating trying to get my name out there. It's nice to hear encouraging words and tips from other writers.

The doggie photo is of my furry child, Misty. Isn't she gorgeous? She's a mix of black lab, German shepherd and collie and she definitely is a happy "kid". She gets spoiled rotten by everybody!
