Derrolyn! It's been forever -- again -- why does that happen so often? Wanted to say your books are on my TBR lineup for finishing out this year! Can't wait to finish the Athena Effect Series & read Last Call :D Hope you've been busy crafting new epic plots with daring heroines, when you haven't been busy with painting beautiful things.
Hi Derrolyn! I haven't seen you on Goodreads lately. Just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you, and hoping all is going well with you.Cheers!
Tadiana
Oh darn, you took down your koi painting. I was going to add it to my Pinterest. I've always thought it was lovely. Did you sell it?

hi there Derrolyn! I see your updates all the time via friends, so I thought we ought to just make it GR official ;)
YES! I'm trying so hard to pretend that I'm not okay with John Barrowman in Uggs. 'Cause I might be.
You wrote your first book at age 49? I swear to god Derrolyn you look about 30 in your profile pic (more like late 20s). What the hell is your secret to eternal youth? Do you sacrifice virgins? I seriously thought you were about in your mid-30s or something (only because I know you have teen kids). Seriously, are you some kind of immortal?

Oh that sounds really cool. They must be quite happy in their home if they are thriving like that. A twenty inch fish is a seriously big fish. lol
You have some beautiful paintings. :D

No, I had to look that up to see it was an Escher - I was actually inspired by the four monster koi that are rapidly outgrowing my patio pond. We're going to add a connected horse trough with some water lilies as a bio-filter ASAP, because they eat all the plants we put in there! (They're seriously huge, and have grown from 2" to about 20", and share the pond with a ton of former carnival goldfish, LOL).
I love the exquisite fish painting in your profile. Were you inspired by Three Worlds? I used to have a poster of that in my bedroom.
Hey! It's been forever but I just wanted to see how you've been! Really excited to hear more about your 80's themed novel :D Have you been watching John Hughes on repeat?
I just had to tell you, you're paintings are lovely, Derrolyn. You give your still-life’s so much vibrancy, color and movement. It reminds me a little bit of Janet Fish, although your style is all your own. :D
Hi Derrolyn, thank you for the friend request. I'm sorry this troll has been bothering you as well. Really hope he disappears soon!

Hey do you know if there's spam profiles going around or something? I got an email notification that some random girl sent me an inappropriate message but when I clicked on it, it took me to Goodreads and said "profile not found"
You know, with a name like Khanh, I thought I've heard them all. Genghis Khan. The Great Khanh. The Wrath of Khanh. And then you came alone with...that thing.
T__________T
Thanks for the FR! And the new nickname :P
Thanks for accepting! I know I had you over at BL but I deleted there since I was never on. Happy to be friends with you on here instead! :)

Thank you! I've written, but we'll see if I get a response. I figure if I squawk publicly, hopefully they'll be shamed into stopping the blatant piracy :)
Thank you for according my frien request! Can't wait to chat books! :)And I love finding cute pics on the net!
Don't neglect your paintings--some people (who will go unnamed) wish they could paint. :)
I'll make sure to check out some of your books!!!

There's nothing wrong with a bit of a retro feel sometimes! Great work and I can't wait for the next two. :)
