Here's the next installment of House on Plunkett Street. Go to www.LorenaBBooks.com to see all my books. While status quo seemed to be the norm for Phoebe, one day without notice things began to shift. First the apartments she lived in decided to go condo and she was going to have to come up with the money to buy it or move. Then her company restructured leaving her future as an employee precariously upon the fence. So there she was in her miniscule cubicle with its fluorescent lighting, staring at Craigslist looking for a reasonably priced apartment. Her vanilla yogurt sat untouched on her desk as she scrolled through the listings of apartments, wondering how these people could ask such exorbitant prices for the cramped and probably dirty spaces they had available. She heard her friend Meghan ambling towards her cubicle. Phoebe knew when Meghan was coming because she walked with definite and precise steps rather like a soldier on parade.
