Tom Toner Hey Goodreads, I've been a bit of a ghostly presence on here, but in case any fans of my Amaranthine Spectrum series didn't know, I have a new book just published (under my interdimensional pen name Caspar Geon) called the Immeasurable Heaven. It's set in a distant galaxy three billion years ago and features a completely inhuman cast of characters. The book's had some nice reviews so far, and it was a hell of a lot of fun to write. Will update a bit more regularly from now on (i.e more than once every ten years), hopefully with some more news on even newer books very soon.

Early praise for the Immeasurable Heaven:

''an absolutely wild ride through a formidably original universe, filled with the bizarre and phantasmagorical'' - Adrian Tchaikovsky

''one of the widest canvases I've ever read in an SFF novel'' - Nerds of a Feather

"a groundbreaking, headlong rush through realities, space and time. It's been some time since a book involved my mind as much as my heart'" - Catriona Ward

''startling and unpredictable... a wordsmith without peer'' - Locus

''fearlessly creative, wildly imaginative, and wholly satisfying" - Gareth L. Powell

''a stunning ode to the weirdness living inside us... to say this book is inventive is like saying the Mona Lisa is a portrait. It's true, but it doesn't really scratch the surface'' - FanFiAddict

''wildly, explosively imaginative... a feast of a book: among the most original science fiction I've read in years" - Stark Holborn

''easily the most exciting and significant SF imagination since Iain M. Banks" - Jon Wallace

''a truly exceptional piece of SF... the intrigue, character, humour, plot, worldbuilding and sheer breadth of imagination make this the best and most original book I've read in years'' - Edward Cox

William Tom, Thank you for the friendship!

I very much enjoyed your first book; and I hope soon to get around to reading more

Regards,
William
