I am so sorry about forgetting to answer your question about the setting of the ghost story. Many of my stories have a fictitious or "anywhere" setting, but if I had to set a location, for this one, it is very reminiscent to bar on Eglington Ave. in Scarborough, a suburb of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Also sent you a collection of my short stories by email, included is "Man's Best Friend". I am not surprised you did not get this one, it has a doubt twist to it.

You sweetly sent two stories a while ago and they are undoubtedly unique. It has been at the back of my mind to follow-up the way you deserve, Cindy. In fact I wonder if you could resend the PDF of "Man's Best Friend". I didn't understand it the first time and wanted to read it again carefully, then mark it "read" on this website.

thank-you so much for your kind words. I am in Chatham, Ontario, but have lived all over the province. I grew up on ghost stories, but tied soon of the routine formula that most possess.
