My three-story collection, "Christmas Eves," will be free between Thursday, July 21, and Sunday, July 24. If you need to cool down from the summer heat--or would like a little Christmas in July--give this collection a try!myBook.to/ChristmasEves
And if you've the time, please leave a review, no matter how long or short, here or on Amazon.
Thanks so much!
G.
It's Shark Week again. Though I rarely watch it these days, it holds a special place in my heart, as I began writing my first "book" (in the eighth grade, no less) during Shark Week of...er, the very early 90's. I wrote longhand, and it took a year to reach 100 pages, front and back, scribbled in my impossibly-tiny hand. I detest sharks, but I like their week, because I feel like it's an anniversary, of sorts. (And all the other kids thought I was such a dork for it. That they may have been right is beside the point.)
Everyone always asks, "What's the best opening line in a novel?" I want to know--What's the best closing line? Isn't that the one that stays with you longer? (Well, most of the time.) Time to crack some books and read some last lines. Anyone out there have a favorite?
I do hope I'm allowed to upgrade to an Author's profile once they gauge my questionnaire. I'd love to see my own books listed on this page.
