Bonnie Stanard From Mark: Bonnie
Congratulations on “Master!” I enjoyed every page and am very proud to know you. I’m looking forward to “White Preacher.” I enjoyed the increased level of imagery you added to the second installment. Your descriptions did a fantastic job of bringing life to the family. Georgiana and especially Tilmon are life and blood characters. You clearly stepped it up a notch form Kedzie. While having read Kedzie may have removed some of the suspense, the alternative perspective that Master adds to the story made up for the lack of surprise. Additionally, your background work stands out in the historical minutia you provide regarding the daily life and views of both freemen and slaves in mid-19th century South Carolina. All presented in a very casual way that adds to the drama of each character’s experiences, dilemmas, and actions. Little did I suspect that you had mastered the art of bodice ripping; reserved but none-the-less tantalizing. I couldn’t resist reading passages to Jan. Bravo!

Bonnie Stanard From Diane: Master of Westfall Plantation, second of Bonnie Stanard's Trilogy, holds up to the first novel's high score's. Her fabulous, believable characters and their interesting pre-Civil war, antibellum South "dialogue (all well researched) adds authentic richness of the story. I love how the second book moves along at the exact same time frame as the first, so you see the story from all angles and perspectives. The engaging plot structure of her work created such interest and intrigue; I truly didn't want the story to end. Waiting patiently for the Third!
