Thanks for accepting my friend request, Jason. You seem like an interesting person and a prolific author as well. Feel free to tell me a little bit about yourself. As for me, I'm an actor/singer/songwriter who has just turned author. When you have a moment, please check out my 27 CDs as well as the awesome reviews I've received from Amazon.com regarding my first novel, FORBIDDEN STEPS.http://www.edrambeau.com
Have an awesome week and thanks again, Ed
Hi Jason,Always great to meet a fellow writer and I'd been planning to check out your Henry Parker novels even before I found you on this site. I write a lot of retrospective crime fiction, myself, in the tradition of Ellroy but more especially of Jake Arnott and David Peace (being as I'm British). HOLLYWOOD BOWL is self published and available on http://www.lulu.com/content/4649341 I have a pucker publisher for ENEMY WITHIN which comes out in April. This is a retrospective crime thriller set in Yorkshire, during the miners strike. My current novel (that I'm editing this weekend) takes the black cop character from Enemy Within and returns him to Birmingham, in a struggle to nail a Yardie boss. This finds him bringing in a young kid from Jamaica to infiltrate the Voodoo posse gang, then trying to set up a crime and getting into all types of trouble. Major influences include Chester Himes. I'm going to join the Author's Society and Hardcore Crime groups even before I have my first coffee this Sunday morning.

Hi Jason and thank you for adding me. I love the exerpt from "The Mark"....already grabbed my attention. I love mysteries! I know you're a very busy man, but if you have the time, I'd love for you to visit my web site, jeanniebarber.com. I'm a novice writer so feel free to make any kind of suggestions, ideas or thoughts to correct it. While you're there, please sign the guestbook, too! Thanks,
Jeannie
