Gerry Burke This is my first post since Covid appeared and many of you will want to know how the pandemic affected Paddy Pest and Stormy Weathers. They actually kept a low profile but did reappear in my collection of short stories entitled My Book of Revelations. This volume collected three awards but I don't think they had anything to do with that. Last year I managed another short story collection entitled Citizen Vain. It's all about tall poppies who are brought down to earth. It's a good read.

Gerry Burke It has been some time since I posted a comment. I'll have to spend some time in the naughty corner. Since Paddy Pest went into hibernation, I have thrilled my readers with a science fiction novel and a murder mystery set in my home town of Melbourne. So far, Paddy and his friends in and out of space have picked up six awards. We are all thrilled. If you don't read one of my books soon, you'll be joining me in the naughty corner.

Gerry Burke I am delighted to have received a gong at the 2011 USA Best Books Award - Pest Takes a Chance was a finalist in the Humor Category. Paddy Pest is a pretty funny guy for an international crime buster.

Gerry Burke There is nothing I like better than reading my own books - The Lady on the Train is the latest and there are laughs by the bucket load. However, some caution - they are only suitable for children over thirty.
