I went to school in Maryville, down the road from Knoxville.
The question is more how I got to Maryville. I'm originally from Evanston. I grew up with the chi-chi accent and added a bit of a Southern drawl to it along the way.

Oh, wow! Thanks, Jon, for the invite.I really enjoy the Jefferson Bass books although I have discovered that they do not always make good reading on public transportation. Something about reading about detailed autopsies, etc., while hanging on to a strap in a crowd.
And I enjoy how they take me back to Temmessee, where I went to college.

You're clearly a lot more savvy about Goodreads (and probably other web/blog/social media things) than I am; if you have thoughts/suggestions about ways to be smart & strategic about reaching readers in these ways (newsletters? a weekly blog? guest blogging? I have no idea where to start!), please feel free (but not obligated!) to sing out...
Thanks!
