Thank you to those who have found my book "Can We Talk" and gave it a 5 star rating. The book is on the list "Best Books To Read to 3-5 Year-Old Children." The book was put together for my kindergarten class who enjoyed it immensely. My colleagues also got a kick out of it. It is a short book but just right for that age group especially if you want to ask them questions such as: What was the book about? (Capone's owner treats him like a child and not a pet. And: Are you sure? Capone's owner puts a coat on him; puts him in a stroller; and brings a lunch date for him. Dogs don't do that. Then I had my class write letters to his owner on behalf of Capone because he didn't want to hurt her feelings. I used those letters to set up a bulletin board in my classroom. It was a bulletin board with children's work and not store bought materials. It was great.

Just retired from NYC DOE. Was a kindergarten teacher for the majority of my time at the DOE. Put together a make-shift book for the class. The children enjoyed it and colleagues encouraged me to have it published. After much thought, I did through Page Publishing. I hope all who read it enjoy it as much as my class did.
