Some authors post their own reviews of their books but I do think the better practice is not to do it.

Regan wrote: "thanks, W.E. I have to say I was surprised you rated your own book. I always thought that was discouraged. I'm just beginning it now."The review actually done by Kirkus. When I posted the review the people at Goodreads told me to put it there. I can change it if it's not appropriate.

thanks, W.E. I have to say I was surprised you rated your own book. I always thought that was discouraged. I'm just beginning it now.
Hi Regan, I hope the reviews to read on Guardian of Paradise don't discourage you from reading the book. There are quite a few others that were good.I have been enjoying your posts on Facebook.
Thanks, W.E.

Against the Wind follows with Sir Martin's story and, coming this spring, Wind Raven, the story of Capt. Jean Powell, Martin's brother. It is a pirate Regency! Hugh and Mary are characters in my short stories and my novella, The Twelfth Night Wager.
Thank you i will see your blog, actually i'm on reading racing with the wind and i can't take off it from the first page, really enchanting and sexy story

*~Serenity~* wrote: "Thanks for the invite Regan! Yes I love your reviews on all those oldie favorites of mine. Look forward to chatting with you:)"Serenity, I read and review the new ones, too, though I have to say the older ones still capture me. They are so good. Right now my all time favorite is Bride of the MacHugh by Jan Cox Speas--a Highlander romance written in 1954 (!), but it can compete with ANYTHING out there today!
Thanks for the invite Regan! Yes I love your reviews on all those oldie favorites of mine. Look forward to chatting with you:)

Hi Regan..thanks for the invite! III say we do have books in common,as your the first to have 100% match!I look forward to chatting with you on our love of a good swashbuckling pirate romance(and other good books as well) Check out my Pirate romance group too for other great recommends:)
Kathleen: I bought the trilogy and haven't gotten to this one but loved the first. I'll try to move it up on my reading.
I see you have Sweet Release on your to read list. I'll be curious about your reaction. I stopped reading it after the scene where they make love for the first time. I thought his actions showed him to be a callous bastard. I did a compare and saw that generally we tend to rate books similarly.
Thanks for the friendship Regan! I love historical romances and just read the blurb on yours!! I so can't wait til I can get and read. Great to meet you!
