It's so good to hear from you. Last night I read your blog post about Katy Perry and Aurora, and as I did I saw in my head some photos y'all sent me from when Aurora and your son were very young. (I still have them.) Great to read about her and her fights for fairness.

It's great to see you anywhere. We tried looking you up after Katrina--Mary Jo connected with Mage, who told us you were in exile and doing fine. We both read your 55-word Katrina flash fiction. Nice work. I know it's not a poem, but it's better than 99.9% of poems I see.
