Jesse Thanks Barbara. :)

Barbara Watkins Award winning author, Frank Nappi, gave 'Six-Pack of Blood'a rave review and five stars on Amazon!

Betty Dravis's entrance into the deepest, most remote recesses of man's dark side and the arcane, disturbing world of the macabre is indeed bone-chilling and executed to perfection. Together with Barbara Watkins, Dravis's spine-tingling tales are masterfully crafted and capture the elements of drama that feature man's struggle with his primal demons. These snapshots of the unthinkable are brilliant, blood-curdling stories that are captivating and eerily reminiscent of those made popular by The Twilight Zone. Betty Dravis is also a master storyteller of any genre. Her prose is deft and witty, with lines like "Long ago, her own mother had warned her that Rock `n Roll would be the death of her...for the first time in her life, she hoped her mother was right" to capture you and plunge you into the world which she describes. Dravis's artful depiction of things both banal terrifying will leave a lasting impression on you. If you are a fan of first rate fiction and have a real penchant for horror, look no further..this is your holy grail. - Frank NappiSix-Pack of Blood

Barbara Watkins ANNOUNCEMENT: Amazon is offering a FREE download of my short story, 'MORTAL ABOMINATION' starting October 30th through October 31st - Go and get your FRIGHT on tomorrow and CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN with a Paranormal/Thriller...!

Every human being has at least one characteristic that separates them from the crowd. Something that makes them stand out, causing others to either be drawn to this uniqueness, or shrink away in repugnant fear.

But what if your exceptional gift was unseen by others, something that although couldn't be measured by traditional means, was surely there?

And feared.

This is exactly what happens to Maria Torres because she is different. Her supernatural abilities, even though she uses them for the betterment of mankind, have made her a virtual societal outcast, and only two remain tightly by her side: her husband and her best friend.

Barbara Watkins starts this short off at full speed and never slows the pace, leaving you breathless and dizzy from the twists and turns. A brilliant piece of literature that delves into many facets of the darker side of humanity, and how people will sometimes blindly follow the inept ideas projected onto them by the powers that be. Micki Peluso Hi Barb,

You read what I read!! I write short paranormal/horror and have been published in newspapers for years. Your book, BEHIND THE RED DOOR sounds great. I hope I getot read it. My first book, a funny/bittersweet/tragic memoir was just released in september of 2007. It was quite a stretch for a short story writer!! I'm writing another book but keeping it short--YA sci-fi, until I am more familiar with the length of books.

Nice meeting you

Micki Peluso author of . . .AND THE WHIPPOORWILL SANG
