This is because (a) i have way too many to read, and (b) if they're lousy or mediocre or simply not captivating, I stop reading them. Never did that before this job, but now my time is too stretched. So I'd rather not reveal which those are that don't make the cut.

You're like me - you don't bother to mark books as 'to read.' I only put books I've finished or on rare occasions 'currently reading.'
Yeah, I just moved from the 'old school' phone to a new school one recently - too recently to take advantage of the Goodreads app to scan in the bulk of my reading history. I just thought I'd throw that out there. Looking forward to seeing your books once you get them in there. Goodreads makes a fancy Venn diagram of book overlap between friends, it's quite interesting!
hahahah you are assuming i have a smart phone. i have a dumb phone. pretty much all it does reliably is text.
