Hello, Mr. Connolly. Thank you for accepting my request. I am "The Book Of Lost Things" fan. I am sorry to say that I never heard of you prior to stumbbling upon the book in audio format in an eaudiobook collection at the local library. The book could have easily been based on my childhood, and I'm sure many fans of the book feel the same way. I had my own demons to hide from from time to time and so fairy tales and the Serbian and Celtic epic poetry were my favorite "hiding places". To this day I refuse to acknowledge the borders between "reality" and "fantasy". We all live and then die, so we might as well enjoy the solice and comfort and happiness and benefit from wisdom, wherever we find them, be it in what the common refer to as "the real world" or "only in your head".And your Charlie Parker series, along with Boris Akunin's Erast Fandorin series, rekindled my interest in the mystery genre. Thank you!
Hi John thanks for accepting me as a friend, big fan of Charlie Parker, love the supernatural elements to the stories. Very edgy.
