I went to Israel in Oct of 1975--I was 12, going on 13--and visited Masada...what an impact. I still miss Jerusalem.
I don't know if I have any Cajun, Creole, or Viking ancestors in any of my family histories that I know of, but some of my Medival Templeton ancestors did marry into Russian and/or Scandinavian Royal families, or....so I'd been told. Don't really know, as I've never met their descendants--that I know of-- and can't speak the languages. Oh, well...have a good day.
Loved the ending of Good Vampires Go to Heaven. Hope the novella will have more about Svein, Jogeir, Armond, Dagmar, Inga, Lizzie Borden, and maybe the 50+ rescued vangels--former vangels. Have a great day.
About to start reading Good Vampires Go to Heaven. Hard to believe that this could be the very...very last book in the Deadly Angels series. Hope there'll be more in the future.
Finished Vampire in Paradise this past weekend, loved it. Greatly enjoying Even Vampires Get the Blues. Love reading about Tante Lulu, once again. Love those Cajuns. Have a great day.
Looking forward to reading The Cajun Doctor, but what's the Bayou Angels series? Are any out yet? I did check your internet site, but didn't see any titles listed. Have a great day.
Happy Olde Christmas (Jan 6th). Finished Christmas in Transylvania last night, the started on Vampire in Paradise.
Reading Christmas in Transylvania. Started last night, and I know I'll finish it well before Olde Christmas.
Would love to read more about Dagmar, and her sister, Inga, and how they ended up being Blood Ceorls. I assume that the Blood Ceorls are....immortal humans. I have wondered why Dagmar is a mute. Is it because she has to feed the vangels so often? Merry Christmas.
Just bought Snow on the Bayou, at Barnes & Noble, today, and skimming it now. I like that rascally Tante Lulu.
Trying to read Kiss of Wrath, fast, so I can read Christmas in Transylvania, during the 12 days of Christmas; I wish there were 13.
Greatly enjoying Kiss of Wrath. Loved Las Vegas when I visited in April of 2000, but...really... loved The Valley of Fire, and beautiful Death Valley. We put over 2000 miles on that rental car. I even saw a large field of small sunflowers in Death Valley, as well as a volcanic crater filled with water.
Just found a copy of The Love Potion in a used bookstore, the other day; I'll save it for a snowy day in Charlotte, NC. Greatly enjoying Kiss of Temptation, and its Cajun people-- I love those Cajun people. I enjoy many styles of books-- both fiction, and non-fiction-- but I'll never...knowingly...will read Erotica. The Deadly Angels series has become one of my top favorites, and I do plan to read your Cajun novels, whenever I can locate them.
I really liked the character of that mute blood ceorl, Dagmar, in Kiss of Pride. Even though she stays behind the scenes, to me she's still seem an important character. Also, though the Vangels seem to be gentle with her, I admire her courage. If it was me--in real life-- I don't think I'd be courageous enough to be willing to feed a Vangel.
Have you heard of chocolate covered garlic? It sounded like a fun Halloween snack.I haven't found it yet, but I love chocolate covered candied ginger-- I get that at Whole Foods, once in a while.
Thank you for friending me. I find I can't get into historical romances, any more, but I do love the Viking II series, since I greatly enjoy time travel stories. Also, I love the Deadly Angels series, since...for some reason...it makes me laugh to think of vampires having angel wings--very hard to escape, I would be sure, if they had been for real. Haven't yet found Good Angels Go To Heaven, but will there be any more books in the Deadly Angels series?
