Rick Thanks for the comment, Thomas. I only have one vampire book, but think you'd probably really like some of the others. Glad to have met you on here!

Jeannie Faulkner Barber Hi Thomas and thanks for adding me my Texas Brother! Have an awesome Thanksgiving!
Smiles, Jeannie

Richard Kramer hey Norman, thanks for the invite. hope to chat soon, lots to talk about. keep the faith, R

Rosemary Norman, thanks for your invitation to another Houston-area resident. Like you, I have plenty of experience juggling a day job and varied interests with the joy of raising a family and trying to write. You know the trick--relentless perseverance.

Your reading of David McCullough's 1776 caught my attention. Recently, I enjoyed the audio book of John Adams and then watched the HBO production. With your interest in history, you might want to look into the Historical Novel Society (www.historicalnovelsociety.org). Another N. American conference is coming up in '09 (and I know from expereince the '05 and '07 conferences were wonderful for readers and writers).
Best wishes with your reading and writing.
Rosemary

Eugene Thanks Norman, for the kind word, and for picking up my memoir. I look forward to your review -- and I wish you inspiration throughout the year.
