I wanted to tell you how much Leah is enjoying your book. I've never been able to get her to read -- ever. She has carried your book around and read every minute she got. It's taken the whole first semester for her get through it (she struggles so with reading), but I'm thrilled that she's actually wanting to read now. I bought her a Kindle and I'm hoping she will continue. Do you have any suggestions of more books you think she would enjoy?
Your book is a great book for girls to read. You're quite the inspiration. Teaches them to be strong and overcome things that can happen to them. Bad things that happen to them don't have to define their lives or who they are. It probably wasn't easy for you to write the book, but think of all the girls you've probably helped.
