“Maybe this is not the time to say it because people are in pain . Maybe this is the best time to say it because people have time to reflect . In the over 600 seminars I have done in the last 10 years I have been " factual scaring " people into believing that fear of the future is an essential survival skill . They should be prepared to wake up tomorrow & see their company, industry & career destroyed by a new technology or a rival or something else . Hence they have to learn creativity & learning strategies & prepare for doom . Most people stay in their comfort zone till something drastic happens . A disruption has happened . Biological or otherwise it is a real disruption . Maybe the lessons lost on them in the classroom have been brought home by a scorching reality . Covid is a tragedy for many who will never recover . Life's best teacher for many who will think about it so”
